NP Dodge Real Estate Donates 1,330 Boxes of Cereal to Heartland Hope Mission During Community Drive
Omaha, NE – June 10, 2026 - At NP Dodge Real Estate, serving the community extends far beyond buying and selling homes. That commitment to community service was on full display during Heartland Hope Mission's annual cereal drive, where NP Dodge Real Estate agents and staff collected an impressive 1,330 boxes of cereal to help support Omaha-area families facing food insecurity.
The donation effort was part of a larger community-wide challenge involving local real estate brokerages and Omaha Area Board of REALTORS® (OABR) committees. While final donation totals from all participating organizations have not yet been announced, the friendly competition inspired hundreds of contributions and raised awareness about the growing need for food assistance across the greater Omaha metro area.

"Cereal is a core childhood memory. Saturday mornings, cartoons, and a giant bowl of cereal were about as good as life got. The nostalgia made the competition fun, but seeing our agents, offices, and fellow REALTORS® come together to help families in our community is what made it special."
Heartland Hope Mission serves thousands of individuals and families each year through its pantry, outreach and assistance programs. Donations of shelf-stable breakfast foods such as cereal are especially important during the summer months when many children lose access to school meal programs and families face increased food expenses.
While the competition added excitement, the true success of the cereal drive will be measured by its impact on local families. The 1,330 boxes collected by NP Dodge Real Estate will help stock Heartland Hope Mission pantry shelves and provide nutritious breakfast options for children and families in need.
